Illusion of Stability

Where iluusion fracture, and truth endures.

This project explores deconstructivism as a mirror of Lebanese reality: an endless cycle of wars creating an illusion of stability amidst chaos. Like architecture, shattered on the outside but functional on the inside, our society hides a deep resilience behind its desolation. The museum bears witness to this duality between conflict and structure, chaos and life.

Dynamic Geometric Composition – The intersecting angular volumes and fragmented facades create a sense of tension and resolution, embodying the concept of Deconflitivisme.

Contrasting Light and Shadow – The sharp cuts and voids in the massing allow natural light to penetrate deeply, producing dramatic interior and exterior atmospheres that reinforce the narrative.

Circulation as Experience – The central circulation and layered pathways are not just functional but designed as sculptural journeys, turning movement through the building into a spatial exploration.
