This project, titled “Reconnecting Ruins,” represents a visionary approach to urban regeneration in Corniche el Mazraa, utilizing AI-driven design processes to transform conflict-ridden spaces into environments for collective healing. By leveraging generative algorithms, this initiative reinterprets the architectural and social landscape, replacing the current state of spatial fragmentation, car-dominated traffic, and abandoned infrastructure with a rejuvenated, human-centric public realm. The project does not aim to erase the history of the conflict; instead, it uses advanced digital modeling to synthesize a new urban identity that honors the past while fostering a future of recovery, peace, and pedestrian-friendly connectivity.

Generative Urban Planning & Predictive Analysis: Utilize AI-powered machine learning models to analyze the existing urban morphology and simulate real-time data, including traffic flow patterns and environmental stressors like sound pollution.
Architectural & Structural Intervention: Implement generative design workflows to propose the construction of an urban bridge linking damaged structures, combined with the transformation of abandoned ground-floor interiors into a museum and a center for trauma care.
Photorealistic Simulation & Facade Restoration: Apply deep learning-based rendering and texture mapping to visualize the large-scale rehabilitation of building facades, ensuring a cohesive urban rhythm while integrating new greenery and widened, pedestrian-accessible sidewalks.
